The RUWAC-SF 92 has three, in-line filters mounted one after another in order to keep the filter load very low. This makes it the ideal separator for treating the finest of dust particles and keeping emissions to within specified MAC levels.
A special feature of the additional equipment fitted to the unit is the active carbon filter which has a capacity of approximately 50 litres. The filter efficiently traps the dust from the welding gas fumes which have already been cleaned by the other filters.
The individual filters are perfectly matched. Changing the filter elements is easy and the unit is virtually maintenance-free.
When the extraction nozzle is correctly position, the powerful extraction air flow rate of more than 750 m3/h ensures that all smoke, gas and vapour are extracted without any problems.

The filter unit consists of the following:
- Pre-filter, 50 mm mat, dust separation rate: 85%
- Bag-filter, 4.6 m2, Category C as per ZH 1/487, residual dust separation rate: 99.9%
- Residual dust filter, 5 m2, Category K 1, residual dust final separation rate: 99.97%
- Active carbon filter, absorption of gas at maximum contact time.
